Madam, - On a recent early morning sortie on our latest national "magnum opus", the M50, I couldn't help noticing that some people are using parts of this bustling thoroughfare as a virtual bus stop. Lunches in hand, these people assemble under bridges awaiting lifts from colleagues.
Considering it takes only two to three seconds of distraction to cause a pile-up on the motorway I would plead earnestly with those who do it to consider what could happen and what will happen if this continues! - Yours, etc.,
