Sir, - As I walked up Mount Street this morning on my way to work past Dail Eireann I noticed that they have cleared away a large part of the picturesque lawn and flower beds to enhance the facade of Government Buildings by adding a fully lit car park (excluding meters).
Isn't it good to know that while Dublin Corporation are hard at work reducing the number of parking spaces available to the ordinary working man in Dublin's fair city, the boys and girls who legislate these superb transport initiatives will not get caught wanting? - Yours, etc.,
