Sir, - It is 1998. There is trouble and strife on our island, foreign exchange rates are deplorable, the weather is lousy, tourist accommodation is presently outstripping demand. Visitor numbers are down. We know this in the business because it is tangible. I think our new Minister for Tourism has his symbols mixed up. A four-leaf clover has magic powers. Not a shamrock.
