Human rights in Saudi Arabia

Sir, – Ashraf Fayadh, a Palestinian poet, has been sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia on the grounds that he has rejected his Muslim faith, although he has denied this.

I suggest that Ireland cease all contact with Saudi Arabia’s representatives here until basic human rights are established in that country. – Yours, etc,
