Sir, – The history of the politics of global warming ("Green Party faces moment of truth over nuclear option", October 29th) credits the belief in nuclear energy as the reason that no serious efforts were made to control anthropomorphic greenhouse gas emissions in the 1950s and 60s.
What was that about history repeating itself?
