Sir, – What a good idea – an app to identify cars causing problems in cycle lanes (Frank E Bannister, August 4th). Wonderful if it could be extended to identify the cyclist who, shouting obscenities, almost totalled me recently at the pedestrian crossing outside Pearse Station. Then I remember that 100 per cent of cyclists have no registration, no insurance and an alarmingly high percentage have no respect for others. – Yours, etc,
