Sir, – While it is significant that so many schoolchildren took the time to attend in person, or virtually, the climate change protests, could they start a campaign to ban the ongoing purchase of single-use “kiddies” water bottles?
What’s the difficulty in refilling a reusable and recycled bottle each day for the lunch box? Think of how we as a country were successful with the plastic bag campaign.
This continued practice of buying bottles every day must be using millions of bottles every week across the country.
