Sir, – Paschal Donohoe said at the end of his speech that the budget was “Brexit-proof”. That made me laugh out loud. We don’t know yet if Britain is going to be out but in, or in but out, or definitely out, or have a Norway or Canada or Switzerland or Canada-Plus deal, or be out without Scotland or out with Scotland (but not Northern Ireland), with a hard border, a soft border, or no border, or just not out at all.
And Mr Donohoe has a “Brexit-proof budget”!
