Sir, – I am perplexed at the ease with which criminals can remove ATMs from the walls of premises. Most good alarm systems have vibration systems installed on doors and windows; if activated these result in immediate contact with the alarm company.
Surely it is not rocket science for the banks to install similar systems so that the slightest interference with the ATM will alert the Garda Síochána. – Yours, etc,
