Sir, – Further to Diarmaid Ferriter's "History of Ireland in missed targets over the last century" (Opinion & Analysis, April 23rd), surely Brendan Corish's promise, on behalf of the Labour Party, that "The Seventies will be Socialist" is worthy of inclusion.
