Sir, – I refer to “Russian ambassador criticises Tánaiste’s remark about Navalny’s death” (News, February 21st).
The Russian ambassador to Ireland, Yury Filatov, was scathing in his responses to the Tánaiste’s view that the death of Alexei Navalny was ordered by Moscow. Mr Filatov retorted that “any attempt to place the blame on the Russian Authorities is an intolerable interference in the internal affairs of Russia”.
I wonder how does Mr Filatov justify Russia’s intolerable interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine. – Yours, etc,
