The report in Wednesday's editions headed "Campaign opposing Wicklow 'superdump' to be revived" reported Celtic Waste as stating that its waste facility near Kilcullen in Co Kildare would be closing in eight years' time. In fact, the company states that while it expects the site will be restored to its original landscaped state in eight years, it is due to be closed in 2005.

On yesterday's Science Today page the photographs of two of the judges for the Boyle Medal award, Lord Lewis and Dr William Harris were transposed in error.
