Articles in the edition of November 26th and 28th, concerning residents being moved from public nursing homes, stated that the cost per patient per day in the public beds was € 1,350-€ 1,400 and in some smaller facilities up to € 1,800 while the cost per patient per day in a private nursing home was € 850. These figures relate to the cost per patient per week.
An article on orthodontic treatment which appeared in HEALTHplus of November 22nd carried an incorrect name for the practice of orthodontist Dr Claire O’Sullivan, who was quoted in the piece. In fact, Dr O’Sullivan’s practice is Dublin Orthodontist and is based on the Ballymun Road in Glasnevin.
