Boston - The British au pair, Ms Louise Woodward, convicted of killing baby Matthew Eappen more than two years ago, and the baby's parents reached a settlement in a civil lawsuit brought by the Eappen family, their lawyer said yesterday.

The settlement provisions include specific agreements that prevent Ms Woodward from selling her story for profit, said Mr Frederic Ellis, a lawyer for Dr Sunil and Dr Deborah Eappen.
