An elderly woman was killed outside her home in Co Cork when her car rolled down the driveway, trapping her underneath, gardaí said today.
The 81-year-old had parked her car, got out and walked around the back of the vehicle when it rolled back on top of her.
The accident happened in the driveway of the pensioner's home in Aghada, near Midleton, at around 10.30pm last night.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
