A 21 year old woman who was knifed at an inner city Dublin block of flats was still in a serious condition in hospital last night.
Gardai hunting the suspect who stabbed his girlfriend, her other, and three men who came to their assistance, said they knew his identity and were confident of a quick arrest.
The woman's mother (44) was "making progress" in the Mater Hospital, and the three neighbours who intervened, were also still being treated.
A Garda source said: "We know who this man is and we will find him. It should not take Cry long, but he may have taken off to a friend's flat or a squat."
