Woman held in Shannon after air incident

A woman was today arrested at Shannon airport in connection with an incident on a flight from New York.

A woman was today arrested at Shannon airport in connection with an incident on a flight from New York.

The 32-year-old, originally from Limerick, was travelling on an Aer Lingus flight which landed this morning.

She was charged with an offence believed to relate to disruptive behaviour, under the Air Navigation and Transport Act.

Police said the woman was released on bail and was set to appear at Killaloe District Court, Co Clare, this week.
