London - A former animal sanctuary owner was told yesterday she faces jail after letting 140 pets in her care die. Anne Stott (56) pleaded guilty to 24 counts of causing animals unnecessary suffering after RSPCA inspectors found 140 dead dogs and cats and another 20 animals alive, but suffering from dehydration at Crewe Animal Rescue Centre.
