A Cork mother who had claimed that her son was unlawfully taken from her by the Southern Health Board has agreed at the High Court that her action against the board might be dismissed.

Mr Justice Smyth noted the woman's statement and said he was ordering and "deciding" that her claim be dismissed. She was given leave to apply to the judge if she wished to make further applications.
