Two teenagers, thought to be from one family, were killed in a road collision in Co Kildare over the weekend.
The two, a 19-year old male who was driving and his 18-year old female passenger, died when the car they were travelling in was in collision with another car at about 3pm on Saturday. The incident occurred on the Naas to Kilcullen Road at Brownstown, Kilcullen.
The two female occupants of the other car, both of who are in their 30s, were injured and taken to Naas General Hospital.
A spokeswoman for the Garda Press Office said the names of the teenagers would not be released. Gardaí are appealing for anybody who has any information about the collision, to contact them at Naas Garda station on 045 884300.
