Gardaí in Dublin have released without charge two people held after drugs worth €10,000 and a sawn-off shotgun were seized earlier today.
The planned operation was carried out at a house in the Casement area of west Finglas at about 1pm.
Gardaí recovered what is believed to be a loaded sawn-off shotgun and cocaine with an estimated street value of €10,000.
A 28-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were arrested at the scene and were detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. However, they were later released.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
