Two people have been killed in separate road accidents today.
The Garda in Monaghan are investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman in a two-car collision at Gallagh, Clontibret at around 3 p.m.
Earlier today a man in his 20s was killed in a crash in Co Donegal.
The incident happened at Grainnes Gap, Carnamoyle, Muff at 10.30 a.m.
No other vehicle was involved.
