BLACK ICE on the road near Rathmullen Co Donegal is thought responsible for deaths yesterday of two young men in a car accident near the town at 3 a.m.
The dead have been named as Mr Henry John Cullen (23), of Glencoe, Carrigart, Co Donegal, and Niall Lynch (15), from Rathmullen.
Another 15 year old boy is recovering in Letterkenny Hospital from injuries sustained in the accident.
A Garda spokesman said it was believed that the car, which gas being driven by Mr Cullen, skidded on black ice on the road before hitting a lamppost.
