Two people have died in separate road traffic collisions in Northern Ireland.

Two people have died in separate road traffic collisions in Northern Ireland.

One man died after he was involved in a crash on the Frosses Road near Dunloy Cross at 11.30 pm. The deceased, believed to be in his 40s, was a passenger in a red Peugeot which was in collision with a red Alpha Romeo.

The driver of the Peugeot, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Another man in his 40s who was the driver of the Alpha Romeo was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A man, aged 40, died when the car he was driving crashed on the Westlink in Belfast last night. Another man who was a passanger in the silver coloured Mercedes is in a critical condition in hospital.

The PSNI have appealed to any witnesses to come forward.
