Ten students are being treated for smoke inhalation at University College Hospital, Galway, following a fire at a block of flats this morning.
The fire was reported shortly after 7.30 a.m. at a complex in Merlin Park that accommodates students attending the nearby Galway and Mayo Institute of Technology.
