The Coalition is expected to become embroiled in a row over the national stadium and sports campus after the Christmas break, writes Alison O'Connor, Political Reporter.
The Tβnaiste, Ms Harney, has hardened her stance against the project in recent days, saying there were now "different priorities" in view of the changed economic circumstances. The PD leader is set to refuse to give the go-ahead to the project ahead of a general election.
"I cannot envisage a situation where this would be a priority", Ms Harney said.
