An 18-year-old is critically ill in hospital today after being attacked last night in Strabane, Co Tyrone.
The young man sustained serious head injuries when he was assaulted outside Melvin Hall in the town by two or three men at about 10 p.m.
The teenager is now on a life support machine.
The PSNI is appealing particularly to between 10 and 12 teenagers, some of whom came to the young man’s aid, who were in the area at the time of the incident.
