Movember brings biggest moustache to Cliffs of Moher

Projection 200m high and 600 wide filmed for campaign on Ireland’s iconic landmark

As October draws to a close, the season of dodgy face-bush is officially upon us.

This year's Movember campaign created the biggest Mo ever in one of Ireland's most iconic landmarks, the Cliffs of Mo-her.

The Mo projection was 200 metres high and 600 meters wide, and lasted 60 seconds.

"This year we wanted to go big and what's bigger than the world's largest moustache?,"Movember Ireland manager Neil Rooney said ,

The Movember campaign is calling its ‘Mo-bros’ and ‘Mo-sistas’ to action for a seventh year running, to shed beards, grow lip fluff, and love tashes in order to raise awareness of prostate cancer.

With 3,000 men diagnosed with the disease every year in Ireland, the Movember community has raised more than €409 million in the past seven years, has encouraged the growth of over four million moustaches and has become the largest charity for men's health.

Irish television presenter Laura Whitmore, also joined the campaign today with 'Aussies' Misstache' to encourage women to get involved with the campaign.
