A SHELBOURNE soccer player, Pascal Vaudequin, can continue playing for his club until next Thursday when a dispute with the FAI over disciplinary proceedings will again come before the High Court. Last Friday the player was granted a temporary High Court order against the FAI to allow him play against Shamrock Rovers that night.

The President of the High Court, Mr Justice Costello, yesterday adjourned the case for a week to allow affidavits to be filed. The injunction was continued until then. It restrains the FAI and Accolade Ltd, trading as Shelbourne Football Club, from treating Mr Vaudequin as suspended.

Mr Vaudequin (30), of Lower Galliagh Road, Derry, claims that on October 25th last he was sent off when playing for Shelbourne against Derry City. In disciplinary proceedings which followed, he was suspended from playing eight matches and fined £20.
