A shot was fired this afternoon during an armed raid on an ESB office in Cork City.
The raid happened at the ESB Payments Office at Sarsfield Road in the Wilton area of the city at at around 2 p.m.
Two masked raiders escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash.
The raiders made their getaway on a motorbike. There were no injuries reported .
