Hebron - About 20 Jewish settlers took over a disputed home in Hebron yesterday to protest at the shooting by Palestinian gunmen of two Jewish women in the West Bank town.

The settlers sat on the roof of the home in the Israelicontrolled section of Hebron, listening to a sermon, witnesses said.

Early on Monday, Palestinian gunmen opened fire on a car near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, wounding two Israeli women.
