The 47 foot steel bulled motor cruiser, the Plongeur Wisky, was sold on behalf of the Revenue Commissioners for £45,000 at Kilrush Creek Marina, Co Clare, yesterday. The buyer was Mr Desmond Quigley, a businessman from Balbriggan, Co Dublin.

The vessel had been detained last year at Cappa, Kilrush, and 1.7 tonnes of cannabis resin was recovered.
