The second test of the International Rules series in Croke Park has sold out and will be played in front of a record crowd, the GAA confirmed this afternoon.

With refurbishment work on Hill 16 completed, the stadium will be operating at it's usual capacity of 82,300 for Sunday's match, an attendance that will surpass the previous record by over 10,000 and will be the largest for any international sports match in Ireland.

The existing International Rules record of 71,521 was set at Croke Park in October 2002.

The GAA have again urged supporters not to invade the Croke Park pitch after concerns were raised by the Australians following a number of incidents during the first test.

Ireland won the first leg of the Coca Cola International Rules series 48-40 at Pearse Stadium in Galway on Saturday evening giving them a fragile eight point lead going into the second game.
