Ryanair is to fly five new routes to Poland and Slovakia from October this year.

The airline said it would operate daily flights from London-Stansted to Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin, Rzeszow (Poland) and a twice-daily route to Bratislava (Slovakia).

The company claimed the routes would save passengers over £60 million on the high fares of other airlines.
