The founder of the Chernobyl Children's Project, Ms Adi Roche, has warned that unless the "rich nations of the world" deliver on their promise to fund the repairs needed for the sarcophagus covering the damaged reactor at Chernobyl, it will collapse. This could be even more serious than the disaster that struck 11 years ago, she said.
Ms Roche said the Ukraine government has warned that the covering is in danger of imminent collapse. Only half the money promised by the world's governments has been delivered.
