Injury has ruled Wales centre Jamie Robinson out of Saturday's Lloyds TSB Six Nations Championship clash with Ireland.

Robinson, 21, had been selected for his Six Nations debut, but has been forced out with a hamstring problem he picked up during training this week.

Leigh Davies was tonight drafted into the Wales team for the game in the Millennium Stadium.

Llanelli centre Davies won the last of his 18 caps in a World Cup warm-up match against Canada in 1999.
