A woman who fell while climbing the McGillycuddy Reeks in Co Kerry today is being carried off the mountain by members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team.
The injured woman is in her mid-twenties and was part of a group of climbers. She is believed to have hurt her back in a fall.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The rescue operation is centred on the Devil's Ladder, one of the steepest parts of the route up the mountain.
