ParthusCeva signs WLAN technology deal

Dublin-based technology company ParthusCeva has formed an alliance with US chip designer Intersil.

Dublin-based technology company ParthusCeva has formed an alliance with US chip designer Intersil.

Under the deal, the companies will license Intersil's 802.11 Wireless Local Area Networking (WLAN) technology to third parties.

It is understood that ParthusCeva will provide wireless IP expertise, sales, marketing and customer support in licensing the product

The company said the move will accelerate the use of WLAN technology across business and consumer applications.
