A Norwegian man died after jumping off an upper deck of the Eiffel Tower with a parachute that failed to open, officials said today.
The man crashed on the 182-foot-high first deck of the Paris landmark after jumping from an upper deck last night, said SNTE, the company that manages the Eiffel Tower .
