The national intermediate mixed pairs championship for the Jim Fitzgerald Trophy, played in Slane, was won by A. Timoney and A. Kelly. Runners up were M. Meade and L. Gaynor. Third prize went to T. Hartford and A. O'Gorman. Regional prize: N. Hayes, E. Scott. Sessional winners: M. Keating, L. Maher; M. Cawley, N. McCabe.
The 26th Wexford congress will be held in the Talbot Hotel, and the Bridge Centre from February 2nd to 4th. The mixed pairs will be played on Friday night.
