JAKARTA - A US pilot, Ms Linda Finch, arrived in Indonesia's capital yesterday on the latest leg of her bid to complete the around-the-world journey attempted by Amelia Earhart 60 years ago. Ms Finch landed at the Halim Perdana Kusuma airbase from Singapore in her 1935 Lockheed Electra 10E, the same model used by Earhart, who vanished between New Guinea and Howland Island in the Pacific in 1937.
