Dun Laoghaire international annual horse show takes place today in the grounds of the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Rochestown Avenue. Teams from Japan, Jordan, Portugal, Italy and Britain will be among the contestants. The Irish Olympic equestrian team will come straight from Atlanta for the event.
Proceeds from the show will go towards building a pre discharge unit for patients recovering from injuries between the time they leave hospital and return to their homes.
