O'Brien confident of One Cool Cat's chances

One Cool Cat faces six rivals as he bids to restore his reputation in the ladbrokes

One Cool Cat faces six rivals as he bids to restore his reputation in the ladbrokes.com International Stakes at the Curragh tomorrow.

The son of Storm Cat was sent off the well-backed 15-8 favourite for the UltimateBet.com 2000 Guineas at Newmarket but beat only one home and was subsequently found to be suffering from an irregular heartbeat.

The colt has not raced since that disappointing effort in May, but trainer Aidan O'Brien reports him to be in top order.

"His work has been excellent and there have been no hold-ups since he started back in training," said the Ballydoyle handler.
