The former Bishop of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh, the Right Rev Michael H. G. Mayes, was yesterday installed as the new bishop of Limerick and Killaloe. The ceremony at St Mary's Cathedral, Limerick, was conducted by the Archbishop of Dublin, the Right Rev Walton Empey.
