Brendan Rushe, the Co Tyrone teenager whose body was found off the coast of Donegal this morning died from drowning, according to the results of the post mortem released this evening.

The 15-year-old's body was recovered 500 yards from the quay in Donegal town at around 11 a.m. He had been missing for 10 days after leaving a disco in the town.

His body was taken to Letterkenny General hospital where it was formally indentified as Brendan by both his parents.

The post mortem carried out by Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, found no marks on the teenager's body. The Garda say there was no evidence of foul play.

The teenager from Castlederg, Co Tyrone, went missing ten days ago after attending a disco in Donegal Town. He was last seen in the early hours of Monday February 18th, after he missed his bus home.
