1-2-3 in the Entenmann`s Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh today.

The son of Storm Cat took it up in the last 100yds under Johnny Murtagh as he finished in great style to collar stable-mate Mozart - who appeared to have poached the race inside the last two furlongs after opening up a significant gap on the field.

Favourite Minardi (2-1) could only finish third after failing to quicken from two furlongs out and Dermot Weld`s Maumee was fourth. English raider Tamburlaine proved a disappointment and never challenged.
