The Minardi Formula One team will tomorrow name Briton Justin Wilson as one of their two drivers for the 2003 season.

The 6ft 3in driver was fitted for a seat in Italy last month and has been linked with a move to the team since.

Wilson, winner of the 2001 F3000 title, missed out on a Formula 1 drive with Minardi last year because he was too big for the cockpit.

He has been competing in a junior Formula in Brazil this year where he finished in second place.

He was scheduled for a CART test with the Newman-Hass team before Christmas, but that is now likely to be shelved.

Wilson, who was also linked with a move to Jordan, will make his debut in the season opening race in Australia on March 9th.
