A Ballyfermot man shot by gardai after allegedly taking apart in an attempted raid at a businessman's house was remanded in custody until May 9th yesterday at Dublin District Court to allow time for preparation of a book of evidence.

Mr Kevin Lynch (28), of Raheen Drive, Ballyfermot, Dublin, is charged with possessing a Marlin single barreled sawn off shotgun with intent to endanger life at Lispopple, Swords, Co Dublin, on March 22nd.
