A man is being treated today for gunshot wounds at a hospital in Belfast following a paramilitary-style shooting last night.

A man is being treated today for gunshot wounds at a hospital in Belfast following a paramilitary-style shooting last night.

The incident happened at about 10 p.m. when the 38-year-old man was shot in his lower leg in an alleyway in the north of the city.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the attack, or who may have information about it, to contact them.
