Man injured in 'paramilitary-style shooting'

A 46-year-old man was taken to hospital in Belfast after being shot in both feet last night.

A 46-year-old man was taken to hospital in Belfast after being shot in both feet last night.

In what the RUC described as a "paramilitary-style shooting", the man was taken from the living room of a house in Foyagh Road, Castlecaulfield, shortly after 11 p.m. by a number of masked men.

He was dragged outside and severely beaten with baseball bats before being shot.
